TopTraq does not use GSM at all. It reports by Crowd Sourcing, reaching any nearby smartphone or other internet-connected device in range as a gateway. No SIM, no airtime, and no monthly network cost per asset.

Does it need a SIM card or mobile signal?
No. Conventional devices depend on GSM, the mobile network signal, and carry a SIM and a monthly cost for it. TopTraq reports by Crowd Sourcing instead, using any BLE gateway within range, including smartphones that happen to pass by - so there is nothing to top up and no signal contract per asset.
How do I pay?
Request a quote from your cart. Our team confirms stock, delivery and payment with you directly, and you pay by EFT against the quotation.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. The price of each device already includes access to the TopTraq platform and Afrisist recovery for the period shown on that device, from twelve months on the LABEL up to sixty months on the ARC. There is nothing further to pay during that period.
What is the range on the device?
Each device reports to any BLE gateway within roughly 40 metres. Because smartphones can act as gateways, coverage grows with the number of devices and phones around the asset rather than depending on a single mast.
Are the prices VAT inclusive?
Yes. Every price shown includes VAT at 15%. The VAT portion is shown separately in the cart so you can see exactly what it is.
Are my card details safe?
Yes. No card details are taken on this website. You pay by EFT against our quotation, and the details you send with a quote request are used only to quote and deliver.
